A Skyrim Story: Book of Renji

It was year 201 of the Fourth Era. A mysterious Khajiit entered the borders of Skyrim on a prison wagon transporting one of the most wanted criminals, Ulfric Stormcloak. As the Khajiit approached his destiny a dragon interrupted the proceedings and razed the town of Helgen. Though the Khajiit's name, Drak'renji was not on the list, a lone imperial soldier named Hadvar helped him escape amidst the commotion. Throughout his journey through Skyrim he had discovered he had been blessed with the blood of a dragon, which allowed him to use his voice to lethal effect and turn it into a Thu'um.

He met and married a Nord by the name of Jordis. It was as if they were meant for each other from the beginning as their adventures together took them to unimaginable places and crypts. The year was 204 of the Fourth Era. Jordis had given birth to a lovely Nordit child in Solitude while they were resting in their home. They named her Juria, in the tradition of the North and inheriting her father's name Renji. Drak convinced Jordis that it was safer for her to go train with his mentor, Grandmaster Kharjet. On a fateful night, Drak and Jordis encountered a very powerful Dragon who had intercepted them as they were nearing Skyhaven Temple. After a gruesome battle with the Elder Dragon, Drak was to deliver the final blow when the Dragon had slashed at Jordis at tremendous speeds, killing her on impact. In a berserker rage Drak destroyed the Dragon and proceeded to slaughter the neighboring Forsworn encampment. After several years of trying to track down the one behind the Dragon attack, Drak had finally cornered Alduin the World Eater at the throat of the world. It was this day that he would meet his end as Alduin proved to be a far more deadlier opponent that he had ever faced before.

The year was now 224 of the Fourth Era. While training with Grandmaster Kharjet, Juria had received a package from Skyrim. After several years, she had received her father's belongings and a letter from one of Drak's best companions and fellow Khajiit, Kharjo. The letter informed Juria that Drak had fallen to Alduin the World Eater. In a fit of rage, Juria immediately began packing her bags and equipment. Kharjet immediately tried to convince her against a path of vengeance but she would not waiver in her determination. Kharjet, in an attempt to keep his promise to Drak, gave her his prized weapons, The Double Dragons. Two silver wakizashi's named Black Dragon and Silver Dragon. Kharjo welcomed Juria into Skyrim and accompanied her throughout her journey to find and exact revenge on Alduin. They both encountered a tomb along their travels, but as Kharjo was trying to defend Juria's flank, he took a lethal blow to his chest from a Draugr Overlord. Juria was distraught and quickly added effigy's to her hideout that would bear the armor of her mother and father, and this time...Kharjo. She quickly became the Harbinger of the Companions and Listener of the Dark Brotherhood in an attempt to garner information about her father and his exploits. She received word that he was also a Nightingale. As she grew up under the tutelage of Grandmaster Kharjet she had always wondered about the statue of Nocturnal in his chambers. In great curiosity and desire for more information she joined the Thieves Guild and pursued the Nightingales. It was at this time she became a Nightingale herself and became an Agent of Nocturnal as well. In exchange for her services, Nocturnal had granted her knowledge of Alduin's whereabouts and how she could find him.

Juria'Renji, set off to find the Greybeards, who were masters of the Way of the Voice. They guided her to the Elder Scrolls that Drak'renji had once possessed. After acquiring the knowledge and ability to face Alduin she met the World Eater at the Throat of the World. It was apparent that she had prepared for this moment as she sent Alduin flying away with his tail between his legs to Sovngarde, his Eyrie. With the assistance of Ovahviin, she pursued Alduin to the last meter of his estate. In Sovngarde she would find her mother and Drak sitting at a table in Shor's Halls. Though they seemingly couldn't interact with Juria, they turned to her and smiled. A single tear washed down Juria's face as she walked away towards her fight with Alduin. As swift as Drak had died, Juria had slain Alduin the World Eater with the stroke of her swords. She finally had her vengeance, and Skyrim was face from the Dragon menace. When given the choice to kill Paarthurnax, the leader of the Greybeards, she chose not to. As Delphine had said, he is the brother of Alduin and could pose a great threat to the world. Juria assured Delphine that if Paarthurnax wanted the world destroyed, he would had destroyed it a long time ago. In essence all dragons are sons of the divine Akatosh, and thus Juria could not find just cause to kill one of the few dragons who were intentionally trying to go against their nature of dominance and seek solitude. Though this may be the end of the book of Renji, Juria's story is still being written.
